Meet the project partners:

Are you ready to take control of your own future? The University of Oldenburg supports you throughout the founding stages of your start-up. Find connections and establish the basis of your idea until it is ready to become a business. Within the extensive start-up ecosystem you find experts in various academic and economic fields. They are here to help you develop your business ideas. Which programme will you choose to use for your business? Incubators, accelerators, or co-working spaces? There is plenty of room to start building your foundations.

In need of a tech savvy expert? it.emsland supports regional companies and start-ups with solutions for IT problems. They also organise events, workshops, seminars, and information sessions. They are your go-to for any topic related to digitalization, cloud computing, IT-security, IT-law, digital communication, and business and start-ups. At it.emsland, you will find the “navigators” and “caretakers” who guide, recommend and support young entrepreneurs in various specialized areas.

Do you need advice on how to set up a business? At Stadtmarketing Emden you will find the expertise and support you’ve been looking for. On top of that, they rent out office spaces and laboratories for you to work at. In return, they investigate how to develop the open mindset that it takes to thrive as an entrepreneur and share their findings with students and future entrepreneurs.

For those start-ups that are ready to take their business to the next level, there is the Inqubator Leeuwarden. This programme has assisted many start-ups within the Ems-Dollart- region ecosystem, finding relations across borders and expanding internationally. From the Netherlands to Germany and vice versa.

Zero to One is an accelerator that helps start-ups with business development and their commercial activities. Whether you need support setting up your business, getting the right people on board, or developing instruments and tools to cross the border. Through their valuable network you will connect with investors, mentors, potential clients and suppliers. And don’t forget to reach out to get yourself a tailor-made programme based on the needs of your start-up.

Hanze UAS is the lead partner of the Startup Ems-Dollart-region project. At the Hanze students are encouraged to develop their intrapreneurial as well as their enterpreneurial behaviour and activities. Support comes from the Centre of Expertise Entrepreneurship at Start-up City. Start-up City offers different educational programmes for student starters and every year they organize with different partners a startup competition.

It must be the most inspiring place for (future) entrepreneurs to work: ZUKUNFT.unternehmen. This start-up space in Oldenburg is made out of sea containers that can be rented to develop your business model, host events, or use as a co-working space.
